Doomsayers Don't Follow Up

Predicting doom sells, but the doomsayers don't follow up, because it would be embarrassing. 

Here is an example from August 2023:

Sounds like the U.S. economy was doomed. What really happened? The S&P 500 went up by about 27%.  Do the doomsayers publish follow-ups? I'm waiting for one.
